Biography

Harry Caesar, also known as Little Caesar, was an American actor and R&B singer. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began his recording career in the 1950s and had an R&B hit with "Goodbye Baby" in 1952. He later turned to acting, appearing in films and television from the late 1960s onwards.

His screen credits include The Longest Yard (1974) as Granville, Emperor of the North (1973) as Coaly, Bird on a Wire (1990) as Marvin Larson, and A Few Good Men (1992) as Luther. He also had guest roles in series such as Hill Street Blues and L.A. Law. Caesar was married to Marion Kane Bernot from 1970 until his death in Los Angeles County, California, on 12 June 1994.
