Biography
Harry Carter (27 February 1906 – 1 April 1996) was an American actor. Born in Pony, Montana, he worked primarily as a contractual film player at 20th Century-Fox Studios from 1942 to 1961.
Carter appeared in many films, often in uncredited roles. These include Laura (1944) as a party guest, How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) as an elevator operator, Pickup on South Street (1953) as Detective Dietrich, and The Fly (1958) as an orderly. He featured in several films starring Richard Widmark.
