Biography
Harry Enfield is an English comedian, actor, writer and director. Born on 30 May 1961 in Horsham, Sussex, he studied politics at the University of York and began his career writing for radio and television before gaining prominence on Channel 4's Saturday Live with characters created alongside Paul Whitehouse.
He is best known for his own sketch series, including Harry Enfield's Television Programme and Harry & Paul, and for creating comedy characters such as Kevin the Teenager and Loadsamoney. Enfield has also acted in series including Men Behaving Badly and Bad Education, and appeared in films such as Kevin & Perry Go Large (2000) and Swallows and Amazons (2016). He directed two episodes of the series Skins (2008) and played the recurring role of Jim Stonem.
