Héctor Elizondo is an American actor. He was born on 22 December 1936 in New York City.

Elizondo won an Obie Award for his performance in the play Steambath. He is known for his role as the hotel manager in the film Pretty Woman (1990) and for playing Dr Phillip Watters in the television series Chicago Hope (1994–2000), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award. He has appeared in more than eighty films and numerous television productions.
