Biography
Henri Schmitt was a French production designer and set decorator active in cinema from the mid-1940s to the early 1960s. He is credited as production designer on Monsieur Hulot's Holiday (1953) and Mon Oncle (1958), both directed by Jacques Tati, as well as Queen Margot (1954) and Fortunat (1960).
His other credits include set decoration on The Lovers of Verona (1949) and art department work on earlier films such as Adieu... Chérie (1946).
