Biography
Henry Bean (born 3 August 1945) is an American screenwriter, film director, producer, novelist and actor. He was born in Philadelphia and studied at Yale University and Stanford University.
Bean wrote the screenplays for Internal Affairs (1990), Deep Cover (1992), The Believer (2001), Basic Instinct 2 (2006) and Noise (2007). He directed and acted in The Believer, and directed and produced Noise. He also wrote episodes of the series The OA (2016). The Believer won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.
