Biography
Herbert Kebelmann (1907–1996) was a German cinematographer, film director and producer. He began his career with landscape films in the early 1930s and later worked extensively as a cameraman on documentary projects.
Kebelmann served as one of the cinematographers on Leni Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will (1935) and contributed to her Olympia films (1938). His other credits include work on short films documenting landscapes, fishing communities and later subjects such as the Atlantikwall in 1944. He also directed and produced a number of short films throughout his career.
