Biography
Ibon Cormenzana is a Spanish film producer, screenwriter and director. He graduated from Bentley College in Boston with a degree in business administration, majoring in finance, and worked as a financial consultant for Arthur Andersen before entering the film industry. He completed scriptwriting, producing and directing courses at Rice University and the Panico Media Workshop.
In 1998 he founded Infinity Films and in 2004 co-founded Arcadia Motion Pictures. Cormenzana has produced films including Blackthorn (2011), Blancanieves (2012), The Beasts (2022) and Robot Dreams (2023). He has also directed and written several features, such as Jaizkibel (2001) and Culpa (2022). Robot Dreams received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
