Biography
Igal Naor, also credited as Yigal Naor, is an Israeli actor born on 25 June 1958 in Givatayim, Israel. He studied at Tel Aviv University and began his professional career in 1987 with a role in the film Deadline. He has worked extensively in Israeli theatre and film, winning an Ophir Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1996 for Saint Clara.
Naor is known internationally for his performances in films including Munich (2005), Rendition (2007), Green Zone (2010) and 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), and for television roles such as Saddam Hussein in House of Saddam (2008), Shlomo Zahary in The Honourable Woman (2014), appearances in Homeland and Fauda, and Jakob Negrescu in Riviera (2017–18). He has also voiced characters in animated features.
