Biography
Ilia Volok is a Ukrainian actor based in the United States. He trained at the Moscow Art Theatre School under Aleksandr Kalyagin and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio.
He has appeared in numerous films and television programmes, including as Vladimir Krasin in Air Force One (1997), a Russian Suit in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), The Fog in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011), a Russian interpreter in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), and Yuri Kovacs in Gemini Man (2019). His television credits include a guest role in Friends (1994) and appearances in Supernatural (2005) and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013). Volok also performs regularly on stage.
Before his acting career, Volok was a professional rower and placed third in the Men's Pair at the 1982 World Rowing Junior Championships. He emigrated to the United States in 1990.
