Biography
Ina Fried, formerly known as Ian Fried, is an American journalist and former child actor. Born on 17 December 1974 in Akron, Ohio, she appeared in several films and television series in the 1980s, including as Rocky Jr. in Rocky III (1982) and as the voice of Timothy in The Secret of NIMH (1982).
Fried's other acting credits include roles in St. Elsewhere (as Jeff Rosenthal), The Wonder Years, V (1984), Amazing Stories (1985) and The Willies (1990). She transitioned in 2003 and has since worked as a technology journalist, serving as chief technology correspondent at Axios after earlier roles at CNET, All Things Digital and Re/code.
