Biography

Ingrid Bisu (also credited as Ingrid Bișu or Ingrid Wan) is a Romanian actress, producer and screenwriter. Born on 15 September 1987 in Bucharest, she trained at the German College 'Goethe' and Hyperion Acting University in Romania.

Bisu began her career in Romanian television and film before gaining international recognition for her role as Anca in Toni Erdmann (2016). She has appeared in horror films including The Nun (2018) as Sister Oana and Malignant (2021) as Winnie, which she also co-wrote. In 2019 she married director James Wan.
