Biography
Irene Burns is an American television producer and production manager. She began her career in post-production, working as post-production supervisor on the HBO series Oz in 1997 and on Homicide: Life on the Street from 1997 to 1999.
Burns progressed to producing roles, serving as co-producer and associate producer on Oz (2002–2003) and as producer on the series 30 Rock (2006–2012). Her other credits include Strip Search (2004), Gracepoint (2014), Berlin Station (2017) and City on a Hill (2019–2022). She has received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
