Biography
Irfan Shamji is a British actor. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from 2014 to 2017 and has appeared on stage at the Royal Court Theatre and the Almeida Theatre, including as Laertes in a production of Hamlet opposite Tom Hiddleston directed by Kenneth Branagh.
His screen credits include the role of Anraj Chabra in the series Industry (2020–), Carswell in The Ipcress File (2022), Brother Guy in Shardlake (2024), a Yugoslavian Police Officer in Murder on the Orient Express (2017), a journalist in Red Joan (2018), and additional voice roles in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). He was born in Lusaka, Zambia.
