Biography
Isabelle Amyes is an English actress and writer. She was born on 13 June 1950 in Grappenhall, Warrington, England.
She is known for her role as Barbara Hunt in the television drama series Bad Girls (2000–2003) and as Betsy in the film Sense and Sensibility (1995). Other television credits include Anne Collingridge in House of Cards (1990), Ruth Duncan in As Time Goes By (1998), Angela Newcombe in A Touch of Frost (1994), Lady Virginia in The New Statesman (1987), and Barbara Land in Doctors (2012–2013). She also appeared as Fanny in the miniseries Love in a Cold Climate (1980).
