Biography
Israel Juarbe is an American actor born on 1 March 1963. He is best known for his role as Freddy Fernandez in the 1984 film The Karate Kid and for appearing as Jose Martinez in Angels in the Outfield (1994).
Juarbe's other film credits include small parts in Beverly Hills Cop (1984), The Net (1995) and Boogie Nights (1997). On television he has appeared in episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Sliders (as Gomez Calhoun) and Cobra Kai (2018, reprising Freddy).
In later years he has also worked as a film and television editor.
