Biography
J. Peter Robinson is an English composer, musician and arranger. Born John Peter Robinson on 16 September 1945 in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, he studied piano and composition at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He worked as a session keyboardist in the 1970s with artists including Phil Collins, Bryan Ferry and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Robinson began scoring films in the mid-1980s. His credits include Cocktail (1988), Wayne's World (1992), Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994), Rumble in the Bronx (1995), The World's Fastest Indian (2005) and The Bank Job (2008). He has also composed for television series such as Tales from the Crypt and Charmed.
