Biography

Jackie Joseph is an American actress and writer. She began her career as a performer and singer in the Billy Barnes Revues in the 1950s and 1960s.

She is known for her role as Audrey Fulquard in The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), Sheila Futterman in Gremlins (1984) and Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), and Mrs Kirkland in Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985) and Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987). Television credits include a regular role as Jackie Parker on The Doris Day Show (1971–1973), appearances on The Andy Griffith Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Full House and Designing Women, and voice work as Melody on Josie and the Pussycats and its sequel series. She was also credited in Small Soldiers (1998).

Joseph's other film roles include A Guide for the Married Man (1967), With Six You Get Eggroll (1968) and Get Crazy (1983). Her acting career spanned from 1958 to 2019.
