Biography
Jackie Sawiris is an actress who has also worked in production and direction. She is known for playing the genie Majida in the children's television series Knightmare (1993–1994) and Roz in Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut (1999).
Her other screen credits include the role of Mother in Denis Villeneuve's Incendies (2010), a TV reporter in The Wire (2003), and appearances in Death Machine (1994), The Bill (1998) and Emmerdale (1998). She has additionally worked behind the camera, including as first assistant director on the second unit of The Mummy Returns (2001).
