Biography
Jacqueline Oknaian Demeterio is a costume designer working primarily in film and television. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and began her career as a personal shopper and stylist at Barneys New York, where she worked with clients including Patricia Field.
Demeterio has designed costumes for series including Younger (2015–2021), Friends from College (2017), Love Life (2020–2021), American Horror Story (2023–2024) and Your Friends & Neighbors (2025–2026). Her film credits include The Intern (2015), The Idea of You (2024) and assistant roles on The Dictator (2012) and The Other Woman (2014). She received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes for American Horror Story: Delicate, as well as a 2018 Metropolitan Fashion Award for Younger and the 2019 ACE Awards style ambassador award.
She is based in New York and has also worked as a celebrity stylist.
