Biography
Jacques Ciron (17 May 1928 – 7 December 2022) was a French actor. He was born in the 17th arrondissement of Paris and died in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.
Ciron appeared in films including Frantic (1988) as the hotel manager, The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) as the Swiss restaurant manager, Hunting and Gathering (2007) as the priest, and Paris-Manhattan (2012). He provided the voice of Monsieur Rançonnet in the animated film Ernest & Celestine (2012). He was also active in dubbing and in boulevard theatre, appearing in the programme Au théâtre ce soir.
