Biography
Jake LaMotta (1922–2017) was an American actor and former professional boxer. Born Giacobbe LaMotta in New York City, he appeared in a small number of films and television productions after his sporting career.
His credited film roles include the Bartender in The Hustler (1961). He also contributed to the screenplay for Raging Bull (1980), the biographical film about his own life directed by Martin Scorsese. Other acting credits encompass Firepower (1979), Maniac Cop (1988) and New Jack City (1991).
