Biography
Jameela Jamil is a British actress and presenter. She began her career in British television, hosting a pop culture series in the T4 strand on Channel 4 from 2009 to 2012. She later hosted The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1, becoming the first regular solo female presenter of the chart show.
In 2016, Jamil moved to the United States. She is known for playing Tahani Al-Jamil in the NBC series The Good Place (2016–2020) and for voice roles including Roxie in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous (2020), Wonder Woman in DC League of Super-Pets (2022), and Ambassador Questa in the Pixar film Elio (2025). She has also appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) and voiced characters in Harley Quinn and Star Trek: Prodigy.
