Biography
James Adamson was an American actor who appeared in numerous films and television series, frequently in uncredited or supporting roles.
He was born on 12 June 1896 in Toledo, Ohio, and died on 29 January 1956 in Los Angeles, California. His credited work includes the role of Pullman Porter in the 1944 film Double Indemnity, Porter's Butler in the 1949 film A Letter to Three Wives, and Janitor in a 1955 episode of the television series Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
