Biography
James B. Harris is an American film producer, director and screenwriter. Born in New York City on 3 August 1928, he briefly studied at the Juilliard School before entering the industry. In 1955 he co-founded the Harris-Kubrick production company with Stanley Kubrick.
Harris produced Kubrick’s early features The Killing (1956), Paths of Glory (1957) and Lolita (1962). He later directed The Bedford Incident (1965), Cop (1988) and Boiling Point (1993), and produced films including Telefon (1977).
