Biography
James Larkin is a British actor and director. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and began his career on stage, appearing in productions with the Renaissance Theatre Company under Kenneth Branagh.
As an actor he is known for roles including Bedford in Henry V (1989), William Fitzwilliam in Wolf Hall (2015), Simon Powers in Black Mirror (2011) and appearances in McMafia (2018) and The Affair of the Necklace (2001). As a director he has worked on series including Call the Midwife (from 2017), Private Practice (2013), EastEnders and Father Brown.
His debut feature film City Slacker (2012) received nominations at the Raindance Film Festival and the British Independent Film Awards.
