Biography
James Renfroe is an American film and television editor. He has worked extensively on comedy series, serving as editor on Superstore (2016–2021, 56 episodes), Shrinking (2023–, 16 episodes) and Abbott Elementary (2025, 3 episodes). He has also edited episodes of American Auto, Blockbuster and Black Monday.
Renfroe has additional credits as associate producer on several series and as director and writer of the short film Beached (2020), which won a Gold Award for Best Sci-Fi Short at the Independent Shorts Awards. Earlier in his career he worked in the editorial department on features including See No Evil (2006) and Kid Cannabis (2014).
