Biography
Jane Hallaren is an American actress. Born on 13 February 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, she began her career on Broadway, appearing in productions including The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1968) and Out Cry (1973).
She is known for film roles such as Stella in Body Heat (1981), Ruth in Lianna (1983), Ellen in Modern Romance (1981) and Nurse Randall in My Girl (1991). Hallaren has also appeared in numerous television series, including episodes of Moonlighting (1989), Matlock (1988), Melrose Place (1992) and Home Improvement (1997). She has additional credits as a casting director.
