Biography
Jane Kass is a film and television editor. She began her career in the 1970s with assistant and apprentice editing roles on features such as Satan's Cheerleaders (1977) and The Manitou (1978). In the early 1990s she worked as first assistant editor on Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), L.A. Story (1991) and The Bodyguard (1992), and as assistant editor on True Lies (1994).
Kass has edited numerous television series. Her credits include multiple episodes of NYPD Blue (from 1996), Without a Trace (2004–2009), Hostages (2013–2014), NCIS: New Orleans (2014–2016) and Quantico (2015). She received an American Cinema Editors award in 1999 for her work on NYPD Blue.
