Biography
Jane Nigh (born Bonnie Lenora Nigh) was an American actress. She was born on 25 February 1925 in Hollywood, California, and died on 5 October 1993 in Bakersfield, California.
Discovered in 1944 while working in a defence plant, she signed a contract with 20th Century Fox and joined the studio's stock company. Her screen debut was an uncredited role in Laura (1944). She appeared in supporting parts in Fox features including State Fair (1945) as Eleanor, Dragonwyck (1946) and Unconquered (1947). After her Fox contract ended she freelanced in films for other studios and worked in television, with credits including the series Big Town (1950) and Rawhide (1959). Her career spanned 1944 to 1961.
