Biography
Janet G. Knutsen is a production manager and producer. Early in her career she worked as a second assistant director on feature films including Rhinestone (1984), Rocky IV (1985) and Cobra (1986).
She later moved into television, serving as unit production manager and producer on The Practice (1997–2004) and as producer and unit production manager on Boston Legal (2004–2008). Subsequent credits include producer or co-producer roles on Rizzoli & Isles (2010–2016), Transparent (2014–2019) and Made for Love (2021). She received Emmy nominations for outstanding drama series as a producer on Boston Legal.
