Biography
Janus Metz Pedersen is a Danish film and television director. He holds a master's degree in communication and international development studies from Roskilde University and began his career as a documentary researcher and filmmaker.
His credits include the documentaries Armadillo (2010) and Heartbound: A Different Kind of Love Story (2018), the feature films Borg vs McEnroe (2017) and All the Old Knives (2022), and episodes of the series True Detective (2015), ZeroZeroZero (2020) and Andor (2025). He is attached to direct the upcoming film Unabomber.
Metz received a Directors Guild of America nomination for his direction of an episode of Andor.
