Biography
Jasha Klebe is a composer. He began his musical career singing at the age of five at his grandparents’ opera house, Cinnabar Theater, in Petaluma, California. He studied classical piano and trombone for over fifteen years before moving to Los Angeles, where he worked at Remote Control Productions under Hans Zimmer for four years.
Klebe contributed to scores including The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Man of Steel (2013). In 2013 he became a headlining composer at Bleeding Fingers Music. He co-scored the BAFTA- and Emmy-nominated music for the BBC series Planet Earth II (2016) alongside Hans Zimmer and Jacob Shea, and provided music for Blue Planet II (2017).
His other credits include the scores for Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom (2015), Diana: In Her Own Words (2017), Our Planet (2019) and Queer as Folk (2022). He lives and works in Los Angeles.
