Biography
Jason Evers (born Herb Evers) was an American actor. He was born in New York City on 2 January 1922 and died in Los Angeles on 13 March 2005.
After leaving high school to serve in the United States Army during the Second World War, Evers began his career on Broadway before moving to Hollywood. His first substantial television role came in the 1960 western series Wrangler. He later starred as Professor Jason Howe in the 1963–64 ABC drama Channing and appeared as Dr Bill Cortner in the cult film The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962).
Evers accumulated numerous guest roles across American television, including appearances in Star Trek (1968), The Guns of Will Sonnett (1967–69), Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) as E-2, and later series such as Knight Rider and Murder, She Wrote. He continued working in film and television until the early 1990s.
