Biography
Jason George is an American writer and producer working in television. He began his career as a journalist, publishing stories in newspapers and magazines including the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune and Slate.
He later completed an MFA in screenwriting at UCLA. His writing credits include episodes of The Blacklist (2013–2014), Nashville (2012–2013), Narcos (2017), Rush (2014) and Into the Night (2020–2021), for which he also served as creator and executive producer. He has held producing roles on series including Narcos, Scandal and Ingobernable.
George received a Writers Guild of America nomination as part of the Nashville writing staff and was part of a producing team nominated for a Producers Guild of America award.
