Biography
Jason Maza is an English actor, producer, director and screenwriter. He grew up in Romford and began acting at the age of seven. He was accepted to the Central School of Speech and Drama but decided not to attend as he was already working professionally.
Maza's film credits include Rise of the Footsoldier (2007), Fish Tank (2009) as Billy's Brother, Welcome to the Punch (2013) and 10x10 (2018). Television appearances include A Touch of Frost, Call the Midwife (2016) as Johnny Beckett and Bulletproof (2018–2021). He has also appeared in stage productions including the original cast of Sucker Punch at the Royal Court Theatre in 2010.
Primarily an actor, Maza began producing in 2011 and co-founded Unstoppable Film and Television with Noel Clarke in 2015. He has produced or co-produced several films and series in which he has also appeared.
