Biography
Jason Mitchell (born 5 January 1987) is an American actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He made his film debut in a minor role in Texas Killing Fields (2011) and appeared in small parts in Contraband (2012) and Broken City (2013).
Mitchell is best known for portraying Eazy-E in the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton. He has also appeared in Keanu (2016), Mudbound (2017), Detroit (2017), Kong: Skull Island (2017), The Disaster Artist (2017) and The Mustang (2019). On television he starred in the first two seasons of The Chi (2018–2019). For Straight Outta Compton he received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
