Biography
Jason Thorpe is a British actor. He trained at Middlesex University, including a student exchange at the G.I.T.I.S. Academy in Moscow. After college he co-founded the theatre company Backstairs Influence with fellow students; their first production, Coming round the Mountain, won several awards including the Guardian Student Drama Award.
Thorpe has worked extensively in theatre, including productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre, as well as in television and film. He played Cavalletto in the BBC series Little Dorrit (2008) and has appeared in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Sense8 (2015), Poldark (2015), The Witcher (2019), Ghosts (2019–2022) and The Banishing (2021). He won the best actor award at the San Roque International Short Film Festival in 2017.
