Biography
Javier Botet López is a Spanish actor born on 30 July 1977 in Ciudad Real, Castile-La Mancha. He has Marfan syndrome, which has contributed to his tall, slender build and long fingers, and he has frequently been cast in creature roles in horror films.
Botet began his screen career with a role in Beneath Still Waters (2005). He gained attention for portraying Tristana Medeiros in [REC] (2007) and has since appeared in numerous horror productions, including Mama (2013), The Conjuring 2 (2016), It (2017), The Mummy (2017) and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019). He played Dracula in The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023). He has also performed in theatre, including as Frankenstein's monster in a 2010 stage adaptation.
