Biography
Jayne Wisener is a Northern Irish actress and singer. Born on 19 May 1987 in Ballymoney, she grew up in Coleraine and trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama before leaving after one year to take a film role.
She was cast as Johanna Barker in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) after being spotted in a youth production of West Side Story. Her other screen credits include Lauren Harris in The Inbetweeners (2008), Bessie in Jane Eyre (2011), and appearances in Misfits (2011), Boogeyman 3 (2008) and Brave New World (2020). On stage, she made her debut in the UK premiere of Parade at the Donmar Warehouse in 2007 and later appeared in BBC Northern Ireland drama Six Degrees.
