Biography

Jean-Paul Gaultier is a French fashion designer and costume designer. He has designed costumes for several films, including The City of Lost Children (1995), The Fifth Element (1997), The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989), Kika (1993) and Bad Education (2004).

Gaultier has also designed for stage and concert tours, including work for Madonna. He received a César Award nomination for best costume design for The City of Lost Children.
