Biography

Jeanette Nordahl is a Danish director. She was born on 19 July 1985 in Ølstykke and graduated from the independent film school Super16 in 2012, with her thesis short Waiting for Phil nominated for a Danish Robert Award for Best Short Film.

She began her career as an assistant director on Danish productions including the series Borgen (2010–2011) and the feature films The Keeper of Lost Causes (2013) and The Absent One (2014). Her debut feature Wildland (2020) premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Nordahl has directed episodes of the Danish series When the Dust Settles (2020) and the mini-series The Dreamer: Becoming Karen Blixen (2022). She directed two episodes of the second series of The Responder (2024).
