Biography
Jeff Lima is an American actor. Born on 17 September 1990 in Spanish Harlem, New York City, he began taking acting classes at the age of 11 and attended a performing arts high school in New York.
His first film role was as Roodly in the 2006 drama Half Nelson. He has appeared in films including Cop Out (2010), Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011) and Bushwick (2017), and on television in Guiding Light, Blue Bloods, Show Me a Hero (2015) and as Leon Cruz in the series Chicago Fire (2012–2019).
Lima established the Jeff Lima Production Award at New York University Tisch School of the Arts to support student film projects that advance Latinx representation on screen.
