Biography
Jeff Perry is an American actor and director. Born on 16 August 1955 in Highland Park, Illinois, he co-founded the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago in 1974 with Gary Sinise and Terry Kinney. He graduated from Illinois State University and worked extensively in theatre before moving to Los Angeles in 1987.
Perry is known for his role as Richard Katimski in the series My So-Called Life (1994–1995), which he also directed for one episode. His other television credits include Inspector Harvey Leek in Nash Bridges (1996–2001), Thatcher Grey in Grey's Anatomy (2005–), and Cyrus Beene in Scandal (2012–2018). He has appeared in films such as Wild Things (1998).
He was previously married to actress Laurie Metcalf and is married to casting director Linda Lowy. Their daughter Zoe Perry is also an actress.
