Biography
Jeff Rosenberg is an American director and writer. Born in Shaker Heights, Ohio, he began his career directing and writing short films including Detonate (2004) and Relative Obscurity (2007). He later directed the feature OJ: The Musical (2013).
Rosenberg directed and co-wrote the 2021 comedy film We Broke Up. He has worked extensively as a first assistant director on series including Veep, The Good Place and Hacks. On Hacks (2021–), he has directed episodes, served as first assistant director on dozens more, and acted as producer.
His directing work on Hacks has earned Directors Guild of America awards and Primetime Emmy nominations for the series.
