Biography
Jere Burns is an American actor. Born on 15 October 1954 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and New York University.
He began his career in theatre, with credits including the title role in Don Juan at the New York Shakespeare Festival and Broadway appearances in Hairspray. Burns is known for his role as Kirk Morris in the series Dear John (1988–1992) and as Wynn Duffy in Justified (2010–2015). Other television roles include Anson Fullerton in Burn Notice (2011–2012), a recurring part in Breaking Bad (2010–2011) and Jake Abernathy in Bates Motel (2013).
