Biography
Jermaine Liburd is a Nigerian-Kittitian-British actor. He was born in Nottingham and moved to London in 2008 to pursue an acting career. Before acting he played professional football for clubs including Lewes FC in the National League, as well as Nuneaton Borough, Hucknall Town, Arnold Town and Braintree FC.
He trained briefly at the Identity Drama School but left after securing early television and film roles. Liburd is known for playing David in the 2019 series The Virtues, Frank Armstrong in Rig 45 (2018–2020), Rudy in This Is England '90 (2015) and Oliver in Salvable (2025). He has also appeared in films including Peter Rabbit (2018) and Weekend (2011).
