Biography
Jessica Campbell (30 October 1982 – 29 December 2020) was an American actress. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she began acting as a child with a role in the 1992 television film In the Best Interest of the Children. She gained recognition for her performance as Tammy Metzler in the 1999 film Election.
Campbell also appeared as Amy Andrews in two episodes of the television series Freaks and Geeks (2000) and as Julie Gold in the film The Safety of Objects (2001). Her role in Election earned her a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance. She retired from acting in 2002 and became a naturopathic practitioner. She died in Portland, Oregon, aged 38.
