Biography
Jill Robertson is a television director. She trained at the National Film and Television School after working in script development and production on films including Trainspotting (1996), A Life Less Ordinary (1997) and Saving Grace (2000). A former professional dancer and drama teacher, she began directing television drama in the early 2000s.
Her credits include episodes of Last Tango in Halifax (2013), Law & Order: UK (2013–2014), Grantchester (2014), Vera (2016), Brief Encounters (2016), Humans (2018), Harlots (2017–2018), The Feed (2019), Impulse (2019), Pennyworth (2022), Dalgliesh (2021) and Ludwig (2024). She has received a BAFTA nomination for her work.
