Biography
Jim Haynie (1940–2021) was an American actor known for supporting roles in film and television. Born James Kendal Haynie in Falls Church, Virginia, he began appearing in screen productions in the late 1970s and went on to work in around 100 film and television projects.
His film credits include a prison guard in Escape from Alcatraz (1979), the dockmaster in The Fog (1980), Donnelly in Pretty in Pink (1986), Richard Johnson in The Bridges of Madison County (1995), and General Garnett in The Peacemaker (1997). On television he appeared in series such as Dallas, ER and Justified.
